So, if you follow the steps below, you should be able to download and install UiPath on Windows without any problems. I started with UiPath before delving into other RPA tools. Let’s get this party started.

 Pre-requisites

The following prerequisites must be met before installing UiPath on your system:

  • You must have at least 8GB of RAM.
  • You must have Windows 7 or later installed.
  • In case your system runs Windows OS in a language other than English, then install the corresponding language pack for .NET framework

What are the Editions that UiPath Offers?

The different editions that UiPath offers are as follows:

  1. Community edition and
  2. Enterprise edition.

Community Edition

This edition is intended for individual developers, small teams, education, and training purposes who are just getting started with automation. Individuals and small and medium-sized businesses can use the UiPath Platform for direct business purposes with a Community Account. Large businesses, on the other hand, only consider their suitability for internal business requirements and non-profit purposes.

Enterprise Edition

Enterprise edition is further subdivided into three types, which are as follows:

Individual enterprise developers who want to experiment with UiPath Studio can use the Enterprise Studio.

Enterprise Cloud: Deployment of the entire RPA enterprise platform in the cloud for any size business.

Enterprise Server: An on-premises deployment of an entire enterprise automation platform for large businesses.
